Bilingual Accounting Clerk - Part time

POSITION SUMMARY:

Charisma Media's Corporate Accounting department is seeking a detailed individual to be responsible for accounts receivable and collections for our book and Spanish division customers. M-F, 25 hours per week.

 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Agrees with Charisma Media’s Vision Statement, beliefs and values.
  • Prepare and post AP invoices
  • Respond to AP inquires as needed
  • Print checks once a week, match to invoice, submit for signature
  • 1099’s
  • Misc AR duties including but not limited to editing, merging, cancel, w/o, charge backs and adjustments to accounts, Emails statements for Spanish International accounts
  • Work closely with Spanish Distributors and Sales Staff
  • Spanish Credit/Collection process including but not limited to processing applications, collection calls, emails and letters.  Work closely with outside collection agencies
  • Assist with NICL, works closely with Circulation Manager
  • Back up to Accounting Assistant, Accounts Receivable books, Proformas, NICL and General Ledger
  • Strang LLC Bookkeeping
  • Tenant invoicing and payment posting via quickbooks, Tenant collections,  Reconciling with Elan
  • Print and email daily IPub invoices and credit memos
  • Maintain departmental office supplies

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
 
  • High School diploma
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • 10 key calculator
  • Excel
CLERICAL SKILLS: 
  • 40 wpm
  • 10-Key by touch
  • Microsoft Word and Excel Knowledge
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
  • Must be bilingual (Spanish/English)
  • Strong written and oral skills
